For this project, I had to pick a social issue topic and create a poster advertising it. the catch? I could only use limited materials related to the theme and was not allowed to make a mark on the poster via painting, drawing, or printing.

For my topic, I selected the issue of single-use food plastics and how they are an unnecessary, harmful convenience. When it came to my materials, I stuck with food plastics such as take-out containers, water bottles, snack packaging, and more.

Letters had to be collected via said packaging which proved to be the biggest as I had to find letters big enough to spell out a phrase. This was how I came up with a simple slogan, “Single Use Sux.”
